Amazon launches TorchNeuron beta to run PyTorch on Trainium2 and Trainium3 chips

Amazon announced TorchNeuron, an open‑source backend that enables PyTorch code to execute on its Trainium AI chips with a single line change. The tool entered public beta on 20 October under the Apache 2.0 licence and supports both Trainium2 and Trainium3, though some PyTorch features remain unsupported.
Why it matters: It gives developers a way to run PyTorch workloads on AWS silicon, reducing reliance on Nvidia hardware.
